NOTICE OF THE RACE
ORGANIZATION
Races will be organized by Sailing Club MANDE, Croatia; Bavaria Yachts Ltd, Russia; Bavaria Yachts d.o.o., Montenegro; Adriatic Challenge putnička agencija d.o.o., Croatia; Centar Jedrenja d.o.o., Croatia; Ultra Jedrenje d.o.o., Croatia; under the supervision of the Croatian Sailing Federation.
RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS 2013-2016), International navigation rules, The Notice of Race, Sailing instruction
ADVERTISING
Boats shall display stickers and flags with the sponsor logo supplied by the Organizing Authority. Flags shall be flying during the mooring in the harbor. Crews are allowed to display stickers and flags with their individual sponsor logo.
APPLICATION LETTER
Each crew shall send an application letter in free form with the following information: yacht division, charter fee payer details, inclusive full name of the payer, legal address of the payer, contact person information, skipper and co-skipper names and details (if available).
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRIES
The regatta is open to the following One Design Classes, offered by Organizing Committee on charter terms:
Division A: Bavaria 40S (20 yachts)
Division B: Beneteau First 35 (20 yachts). The First 35 fleet will consist of two parts, located in different charter bases.
Additional One Design classes could be announced by the Organizing Committee at any time.
One Design Classes will race in their own group.
Each crew shall send an Application Letter to the Organizing Committee.
Skipper and co-skipper shall be identified in the entry form.
In the short upwind-downwind races the registered skipper shall helm the boat at all times while racing, except in an emergency. In the other races the registered skipper or co skipper shall helm the boat at all times while racing, except in an emergency.
Each crew shall present the following at check-in procedure:
- a valid skipper certificate
- a valid co-skipper certificate
- a valid radio operator license
Certificates performed in languages, other than English, shall be followed by their notary translation in English.
FEES
Each crew shall pay the charter fee for their yacht and starting fees. The charter fees are shown below:

* All boats will be available for accommodation between 5pm of 26 September 2014 and 9am of 03 October, 2014. The First 35 fleet part 2 (UltraSailing) will be offered with a EUR300 discount. A delivery from Biograd-na-Moru to Kastela service will be available under a special request, sent to the Organizing Committee before the 12th of September, 2015, otherwise the crew shall contact the charter company directly with such request. The delivery service cost will be EUR300. A crew representative shall be presented at the check-out procedure in any case.
The charter fee shall be paid by a wire bank transfer to the account of Bavaria Yachts d.o.o. against the invoice, issued on the basis of an Application Letter sent to the Organizing Committee. The invoice will be issued for 100% prepayment during the week next to the invoice date and performed by a bank wire transfer. The last date of the payment will be shown on the invoice. All corresponding banking charges shall be paid by the payer.
Additionally each crew shall pay the following starting fees:
EUR950.00 per crew and additionally by EUR120.00 per each crew member or shore team member that will participate in the regatta events (entertainment program, dinners, etc). These fees shall be paid in cash during check-in. Optionally, these fees can be paid by a bank wire transfer against the invoice on a special request basis. Payment must be sent to the Organizing Committee not later than on the 10th of September, 2014.
The starting fees will be used to cover different associated costs of the regatta (mooring fees, referee committee boat charges, prizes, live entertainment, dinners, etc). A refundable insurance deposit in the amount of EUR3000.00 shall be paid in cash or by a credit card at check-in. Additionally, it will be necessary to pay the final cleaning, translog and a rental fee for a spinnaker according to the tariffs of the charter company (Bavaria 40S – EUR270 and First 35 - EUR240), a tourist tax in amount of EUR7 per person. These payments shall be paid directly to the charter company.

SCHEDULE
Saturday, 26 September, 2015 – arrival to Marina KORNATI, Biograd-na-Moru, (http://www.marinakornati.com/en/ - for crews of Bavaria 40S yachts), to ACI Marina Jezera, Murter, (http://www.aci.hr/en/marinas/aci-marina-jezera - for crews of First 35 yachts) or to Marina Kaštela, http://www.ultra-sailing.hr/Charter-base-Kastela. Check-in procedure is available normally after 5pm, but could be done earlier upon special request, made directly to the charter company. Organizing Committee will offer a bus transfer from Zagreb airport to the boat destination on request. A cost of the transfer will be variable due to the bus type and the number of passengers, but averages between EUR35 and EUR70 per person, each way. Transit time from Zagreb / Split will be 4 / 1.5 hours to marina Kornati, Biograd-n/M and 5 / 1 hours to ACI Jezera marina, Murter. Marina Kaštela is located just 4 miles away from the Split airport.
Each crew shall book the necessary quantity of seats in the bus by e-mail message, sent to Organizing Committee not later than on the 10th of September, 2014. Personal transfers are available too, requests shall be sent directly to Johnnie Taxi http://www.johnnie.hr/

8.00 am - check-in of the yachts.
12.00 pm - Bavaria 40S skippers briefing to be held at Adriatic Challenge office.
3.00pm - all fleets shall be at Veli Drazemanski isle (located to south of Murter island, coordinates are N43o45.38’ E15o40.55’).
3.30pm - start of the race #1 Murter - Kremik marina (18 n.m.). After the finish yachts shall proceed to marina Kremik for mooring.
8pm – Kremik marina restaurant: Regatta official opening, presentation of the participating crews, Race #1 awards, gala-dinner and live entertainment.

9.00am - skippers briefing at marina Kremik restaurant.
10.30am - start of the race #2 Kremik - Trogir (20 n.m.).
After the finish - mooring at ACI Trogir marina, free time.
Tuesday, 29 September, 2015
9.00am - skippers briefing at ACI marina close to the referee boat.
11.00am - start of the race #3 Trogir - Sibenik (25 n.m.).
After the finish - free sailing through Krka river to ACI Skradin marina. Live music at the Skipper bar, awards ceremony (races #2 and #3), free time.
Wednesday, 30 September, 2015
in the morning - free time (visit Krka national park).
9.00 am - skipper briefing at Skipper bar of ACI Skradin marina.
2.00pm - start of the race #4, after the finish of race #4 - start of the race #5. The sailing area of both races will be located at Prokljansko lake, total distance - appr.4 nm each race.
After the last race - returning to ACI Skradin marina, awarding of the races winners at Skipper bar, free time.

9.00am - skipper briefing.
11.30am – start of the race #6 Sibenik – Biograd n/M, 20 nm. Finish in front of Kornati marina.
After the finish - mooring at the marina Kornati, free time
Friday, 02 October, 2015
9.00am - skipper briefing at Adriatic Challenge office
10.30am – start of the race #7 nearby Biograd-na-Moru (appr. 5nm).
After the finish - fueling at the dock station, mooring at the Kornati marina (for Bavaria 40S and for First 35 fleet, part 2 - UltraSailing fleet) or at ACI Jezera marina (for First 35, part 1 - Alternautica fleet), check-out procedure.
6pm - for First 35 fleet (Alternautica) crews only - boarding in a shuttle bus and transfer from marina ACI Jezera to Biograd-n/M.
7pm - Awarding ceremony, gala-dinner, live entertainment program.
11pm - for First 35 fleet (Alternautica) crews only - a shuttle bus will be leaving to ACI Jezera marina.
Saturday, 03 October, 2015
7.30am - a shuttle bus is leaving Kornati marina to Zagreb airport. Organizing committee can manage individual transfers to different airports on a personal request.
ATTENTION! The event schedule could be changed due to the weather conditions.
SAILING INSTRUCTION
Sailing instruction (preliminary version) will be available not later than two weeks before the event. The final version of the Saiing instruction will be available at Facebook regatta page https://www.facebook.com/groups/543908205637040/ not later than at 12pm on the 27th of September 2015. All yachts will be equipped with routers and the crews shall check their availability and functionality during check-in procedure. Changes to the sailing instructions shall be in writing and posted within the required time on the official notice board or, communicated to each boat on the water before her warning signal. Oral changes may be given only on the water, and only if the procedure is stated in the sailing instructions.
THE COURSES
The diagrams of the courses for each race will be presented at skipper briefings.
SCORING SYSTEM
The scoring system is as follows: Low Point System. 4 races are required to be completed to constitute a series.
When fewer than 6 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
When 6 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
RADIO COMMUNICATION
The channel 77 will be used for regatta communication.
Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
Each crew member shall have medical insurance with extended limit, valid for use at sport events.
AWARDING
The winners will be awarded large and small cups, diplomas and different prizes.
There will be special awards for the best crew uniform, for the best crew presentation, and in other nominations.
All crews will be awarded diplomas signed by the regatta referee Mr.Alen KUSTIC (Croatia) and referee committee secretary - Mr.Andrey LATINOV (Russia).
